‘Fritha’s Summer’ in final of book prize
‘Fritha’s Summer’, a children’s book by Susan Morris, published by MPress Books, has won through to the finals of The People’s Book Prize. Winners for this prize are decided by votes received from the reading public. Books are submitted by publishers on a monthly basis, and each book can be voted for during the two months following its submission. Voting for the overall winners will take place in June 2010.Susan Morris said, “I am absolutely delighted that ‘Fritha’ has got through to the finals of this prestigious national competition, which has best selling novelist Beryl Bainbridge as its patron. What could be more exciting for a first time author?”
